Most people reading this already know about our community here on the Gulf coast of Florida; but from people outside the area who are not sure where in Florida that they want to buy,  I will provide a little information about our community and this area of Florida.

Location:  The Tampa bay area is a great place to live as it is near enough to major cities including Tampa and St Petersburg and a major International airport (Tampa is ranked the second best airport in the nation) and has the advantages of avoiding the sweltering heat and congestion and traffic  of south Florida.

Madeira Beach is on the outer most beach of Pinellas county, and so is one of the most laid back and friendly of the Gulf beaches in the region.  Clearwater Beach, Sand Key, Belleair Beach, , Indian Rocks Beach, Indian Shores, and Belleair Beach are to the north,   Treasure Island, St Pete Beach, Pass-a-Grille, and Tierra Verde are to the south

Johns Pass Village:  One of the most exciting Waterfront Villages on Florida's Gulf Coast!!!  Johns Pass has it all...  restaurants, bars, shopping,  boat and jet ski rentals, Deep Sea Fishing charters,  annual festivals, and much much more.  Click on the link below for more information on Johns Pass Village.

Johns Pass Inlet:  Johns Pass Bridge and Inlet is your gateway to the adventure to the Gulf of Mexico whether it is doing a little coastal cruising, visiting one of many islands for  a day of relaxation or even camping overnight or going fishing or diving for the day.  The Gulf Coast is slow to increase in depth as you move offshore therefore has an exponentially larger amount of reefs, wrecks and hard bottom compared to the East coast so it  has some of the best Fishing and SCUBA diving and Spearfishing in Florida.

Tamp Bay Area:  Just 90 Minutes to the North you can experience old rural Florida and swim and snorkel in the many crystal clear freshwater springs or canoe and kayak in some beautiful rivers like the Homosassa, Chassahowitzka or Itchitucknee.

Weather:  We are just far enough north that you don't get the crushing and intolerable heat of south Florida and you do  get some level of seasonality;  but not so far north that you need to worry about hard freezes and tropical plants can still flourish.  This house is one of the few in the area with a fireplace;  it is never needed,  but it is  really nice to invite some friend over during a cold snap and crank it up for the novelty and roast some marshmallows on the few cold days of winter.

Additionally, from this house you can be at the Orlando theme parks including Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, Lego Land and others in about 90 minutes.

The map pin Labeled "BOAT" is the location of your new home.
